Pablo Escobar's Brother Issued A "Friendly" Request To Netflix That He Be Allowed To Review Narcos Season 2 Before It Comes Out
BI- Pablo Escobar’s brother Roberto asked Netflix to allow him to review the second season of the hit drama “Narcos” before it is released in September. The show depicts Escobar’s rise to the most famous cocaine kingpin of the 1980s. “I am submitting a formal, friendly request to review this material solely on an informational basis. It is depicting me, my life, my family, and my brother. I think nobody else in the world is alive to determine the validity of the materials, but me, ” Roberto wrote in a statement. Roberto was the accountant for the Medellín cartel and registered in 2015 for “successor-in-interest rights” to Pablo Escobar and the Escobar family name in California. Roberto has written a book about his time with the cartel, including a 1993 letter-bombing incident that injured him while he was in prison. He also has claimed to have found the cure for AIDS through his work with horses.
Netflix has an interesting decision to make here. On the one hand, it’s Pablo Escobar’s brother and he might murder your entire family. That’s what Pablo used to do. He wouldn’t stop at you. He’d gather up anyone who has ever been associated with you and gun them down while he ate breakfast. So Netflix runs the risk of Pablo’s brother following in those footsteps and murdering everyone associated with Netflix if they don’t let him review the upcoming season of Narcos before it comes out. That sounds scary so they should probably just let him see it. On the other hand, Roberto is the shitty brother who never amounted to anything. He’s Fredo. His younger brother was bigger and badder than him and he made Roberto be the stupid accountant. If Roberto could’ve been Pablo Escobar, he would’ve been Pablo Escobar. But he wasn’t. He didn’t have the balls. So if I’m Netflix, I tell Roberto to go fuck himself and get back to being an accountant or trying to cure AIDS with horses. All bark, no bite. That’s Roberto Escobar.
