An Uber Driver Went OFF On A Passenger Who Wouldn't Get Out Of His Car With The Heat Of A Thousand Suns
Far be it from me to say I want to watch a 30 minute video of an Uber driver taking a woman to an emergency room but I sincerely have to believe there’s some more context here that’s necessary. Like maybe it’s me being ol’ Optimist Spags again but this guy’s rationale for why he’s going off on her at 1:20 doesn’t make sense. He says, “You have been extremely rude, extremely condescending this whole time, you kept me waiting way too long, you showed up and told me you were in a hurry when you had no actual effort to be in a hurry”…and that’s it? I’m not trying to do an early 90s standup comedy bit about “Women be shoppin am I right fellas” but isn’t that how it is dealing with approximately half of the women out there in the first place? They act like they’re in a rush then get annoyed because your shoes aren’t on when they’re done after slathering on coats of makeup for hours, but that’s just sort of the exchange, you deal with it. And I assume that would go tenfold if you’re an Uber driver since you’re dealing with customers, I’m sure a lot of whom female, all day every day. Overall it really seems like a spot to me where you’ve got to keep your cool or, at the very least, keep your psychopathic shouting matches to under three minutes.
Also related, Uber now starting the fare if you’re not downstairs in under two minutes is one million percent a rule because of women. Every single time I get an Uber, I and any guy friends I have are downstairs within about a minute of ordering because I get it when I’m ready. But every girl I’ve been around will order one while still putting on makeup or getting clothes on and be like “They’ll wait, that’s their job.” No way that isn’t an epidemic for Uber drivers rolling their eyes around the country. Again, doesn’t make for a three minute tirade but all I’m saying is Uber-female relations may need some work.
