The University of North Texas Coffee Mug Is The Most Viral Thing On The Internet

ONbreaking – The Internet is having a laff at the expense of the University of North Texas or UNT’s coffee mugs. Now those of us without gutter minds will only see the “UNT” on the mug but those of us who just can’t help ourselves see something else. I fall into the latter category. That was the first thing I saw.

The image posted on Imgur appears to show the mug’s handle creating the letter “C” which, when added to the “UNT” initials written on the mug, spelled out an obscenity aimed at woman, outlets said.

The mugs ended up for sale on the Barnes & Noble gifts and accessories store. It looks like they’ve already been pulled (or else they’ve all sold out). I can’t find them.

The real question is: Was this intentional?

Now it’s the #1 trending topic in the world. #1 story on Facebook last night. Eyeballs all over a University that needs applications and admissions and tuition money to build shit. Probably have a deadline coming up for a new stadium and their funding is low. Cunt mugs move the needle.

The only hesitation I have is the fact that college administrators are so out of touch with the real world and any semblance of a “sense of humor” that it might be impossible for them to actually see what’s funny here. They may have honestly not noticed that their mugs clearly spelled out CUNT and that the internet would clearly run with it. That’s a very real possibility.
