It Turns Out Carmelo Anthony Doesn't Hate The Song "A Thousand Miles" Because He Loved It In The Movie "White Chicks"
For reference:
I gotta say, I am impressed that Melo nipped this all in the bud so easily. It is impossible to fault his logic there. Movies make you love music and vice versa. I can listen to Duel of the Fates and actually forget that Phantom Menace was a flaming pile of dogshit.
And if you didn’t at least chuckle as you watched Terry Crews serenade a white-faced Wayans brother that looks like this
you are a cold, sopping wet blanket. That simple.
Just thinking about White Chicks actually being a movie that was actually created after the Wayans brothers were going into the offices of different Hollywood execs and pitching dressing up as white girls as the basis of their movies is so ridiculous you have to laugh. Still a relevant movie in 2016 and not just because angry people will bring it up in comment sections from time to time.
Just another example of how Olympics Melo is teflon. The prototypical player on the court and able to get out of any heat off the court. Even Vanessa Carlton ate up his apology (even though I’m sure a nice bump in sales on iTunes because of this nonsense didn’t hurt matters).
Now we just need Phil Jackson to march into Adam Silver’s office and demand that the NBA starts using that funky ass ball and all games take place in a country that is wild unprepared to host them and the Knicks are minimum threepeating and likely eightpeating.

P.S. Happy 21st birthday to Godzingis. All I ask is that you do not do 21 shots to celebrate the occasion. I am already going to be worried sick about you tonight.
