In His First Start Coming Off The DL, Strasburg Left The Game With Elbow Problems

Not good. No bueno. Strasburg has been an absolute gem this season before having a really rough August where he was having “soreness”. So they put him on a 15 day DL stint, which they called “precautionary”…and nowwwww this. Remember when I said no need to panic? Well, it’s ok to panic. It seems the injury was more than they led on. I don’t want to jump the gun, but he just came off the DL with elbow issues, he made that all-too-recognizable grimace, and now we hold our breath and hold onto our butts. Is it just more soreness? Is it TJ all over again? We will have to wait and see. But in a year where the Nats 1-2-3 pitching combo of Strasburg-Max-Roark was going to lead them into the post season, losing Stras would obviously be a gigantic loss. Just going to hope for the best and expect the worst, the DC sports way of life.
