My beloved Jacksonville Jaguars are headed on a west coast trip which makes my nuts squeeze deep inside my body with fear. Since the Jaguars came in the league in 1995, the Jaguars have only won TWO games on the west coast. Both of those victories came against the Oakland Raiders. The Jaguars beat the Raiders at home in 1999 and in 2005. Since 2005, the Jaguars haven’t won on a west coast trip. So, that’s pretty good, I guess.

Phillip Rivers carved up Jacksonville’s 4/3 under defense last November by targeting the Jaguars defensive weak link, the linebackers. Antonio Gates had two touchdowns and Rivers threw for 4 overall touchdowns. The Jaguars secondary is much improved, but Prince Amukamara is out with a hamstring injury, so Dwayne Gratz will play a majority of the snaps in the nickel. NOT GOOD.

That’s being said, the Jaguars win this week in a shootout 38-35.

Gonna be nice to see young Allen Robinson with 2 touchdowns and 115+ yards.
