Statement from Josh Brown:
I am sorry that my past has called into question the character or integrity of The New York Giants, Mr. Mara or any of those who have supported me along the way. I have taken measures to get help so that I may be the voice of change, not a statistic. It is important to share that I never struck my wife, and never would. Abuse takes many forms, and is not a gray area. Through the past several years I have worked to identify and rectify my own behaviors. The road to rehabilitation is a journey and a constant modification of a way of life. My journey will continue forever as a person determined to leave a positive legacy and I embrace the opportunities to show and speak about what has helped me to be that man. In the interim, I am cooperating with the Giants and the NFL. Thank you to everyone that has supported me, I will not let you down.

Ummm, what? Dude I am pretty sure you absolutely, did, in fact, beat your wife. Your OWN QUOTE was “I became an abuser and hurt [my wife] physically, emotionally and verbally.” So either you’re lying then – when writing stuff down privately in your own journal. Or you’re lying now – when the whole world now views you as a scumbag wife beater. I wonder which it is?

This is some full blown Costanza shit. Its not a lie, if you believe it. I mean straight up sociopathic behavior to release a statement now saying you never hit her. Not sure if you’re trying to convince the public, convince the league, convince yourself, or all of the above, but really its besides the point. Whether it was physical, emotional or verbal, the point is you were absolutely tormenting your wife. Your own original words stated it was all three so I’m pretty sure you hit the scumbag trifecta – but even if you’re gonna try to split hairs and argue semantics about which “type” of abuse you committed and which “type” you did not, the point is you’re a piece of trash for any of it, and all of it. Get the fuck out of here with GREY AREA nonsense. Its black or white – are you a piece of shit who torments your wife or not?

Its clear the guy is a complete and total lunatic and nobody should ever want anything to do with him – romantically, professionally, or otherwise. He should be cut from football and cut from life. Wish we could waive him from the human race.
