Jason Day's First Outfit As A Nike Guy Left Me Speechless For All The Wrong Reasons

I could’ve lied and wrote a positive blog and sucked Jason Day’s dick about how awesome his first Nike outfit was. I could’ve done that and it would’ve been just fine. I mean I’ve already written a couple blogs saying how much I love the partnership between Day and Nike and I still do but on this site we speak our true feelings. I didn’t want to lie. With that said…………gross. Suuuuuuuper gross. Those were the words that came to mind when I saw what Jason was wearing on Thursday in Hawaii. It’s not so much the style of the shirt but the colors. Well actually it’s both. The style and the color but mostly the color. What am I even looking at? The white shirt is where my beef really is. Nobody looks good in white unless you’re fucking jacked like Rory or old Tiger. Not a guy like Jason Day (no offense). I avoid white shirts as much as possible because they make me look like an out-of-shape snowman.

Day even admitted as much during a Q&A with the PGA Tour

Q: Will we see you and Tiger and Rory in matching outfits at any stage?

DAY: Ha-ha-ha. That could be entertaining for some, I guess, but in all seriousness I have some ideas I’d like to throw Nike’s way about style. Obviously I like tighter-fitting stuff while Tiger likes the more traditional golf clothes. Rory likes it a bit tighter but still looser than mine. I want things painted on me even though I don’t have the right body for it yet (laughs). So I have some ideas and hopefully I can change the way golf is looked at.

He wants the shirts painted on him and that’s fine. Just don’t come rushing outta the gate in a painted-on white shirt. That’s all. I’m more than sure JD will heed my advice because if there’s one thing people know about me it’s that I know fashion and am the best dresser in the world. Also, Jason Day hasn’t had much success over the course of his career dressing his own way so that’s extra incentive to listen to me.
