Brock Holt Making Fun Of Tryhard Offseason Lifters Makes Me Love Him Even More
I’m torn on the whole posting your offseason workouts on social media thing. On one hand, it’s definitely both interesting and, in some circumstances, encouraging to watch players on your favorite team getting after it during the offseason. As a fan, I’m definitely curious to see what their offseason workouts look like, as well as simply just knowing that they’re putting in hard work. Where I draw the line, though, is when guys like Pablo Sandoval literally post every single fucking second of their workout on social media every goddamn day. That, and not to single him out, because plenty of guys do it, but when guys like Michael Kopech post workout videos that you can tell are just to suck their own dicks. I mean, I’m just going to assume that the lyrics “I am the God” in Kopech’s six-second video didn’t end up in there by some strange coincidence.
Thank God for Brock Holt, though. Dude just gets it. Always has. He’s a humble guy who doesn’t take himself too seriously. However, we know that he takes his work seriously, only he doesn’t need to brag about it every day on social media. Just a regular dude doing regular dude shit.
