NBA Tells Teams To Play Nice On Twitter....Kings And Hawks Obey Them With Hilarious Twitter Exchange

The NBA is by far the best the best of the sports when it comes to social media. They actually encourage fans to take videos and tweet out gifs of their athletes and the incredible plays that happen in a game. They aren’t like MLB who will suspend you if you take a picture of a game and tweet it out. The NBA gets it. So what happened when NBA teams and players started getting a little nasty with each other?

Shots fired from Chandler Parsons and CJ McCollum, but the NBA didn’t like this back and forth with teams mocking each other, so they asked them to chill out and be nicer. That is where the Kings and Hawks took it to another level.

Following the Kings tweet to Paul Milsap wishing him a happy birthday, the teams engaged in this exchange.

Fantastic, this is great. Teams complimenting each other’s jerseys and trying to encourage the other team not to give up. The hashtags and emojis were a nice touch as well. Complementing the organist was hilarious too.

The Kings just happy to help out the Atlanta fans by providing them with pizza, how nice of them to help out!

It’s like when the teacher tells the kids to behave, and they just do everything so right that it starts to piss the teacher off, the kids just being smartasses. You want us to be nice to each other? Fine, I’ll be so god damn nice it’ll make you puke.

These two social media people need a raise and ASAP. Great job by these two last night, need more of this in the NBA. This is what sports twitter needs, more interactions like this. Some playful trash talk, and teams can still throw some jabs in every now and then too. Love this.

PS. Never forget the best tweet in NBA history.
