The Kyle Busch Joey Logano Fist Fight Is Another Reason I May Have To Become A NASCAR Guy

As a newly converted NASCAR guy (as of yesterday) I have to say this might be favorite little wrinkle in the sport. If you don’t like how someone is racing, you fight them, simple and to the point. I still can’t quite figure out how Kyle Busch was the guy who threw the first punch and somehow the only person who got hurt but that’s neither here nor there. Any sport that openly allows a little post game fisticuffs is ok by me. Fuck the handshake line and pretending everyone is friends, too many times in sports now a days competitors pretend to be friends off the field. Need that anger, need that passion. Like Kyle said, that’s how Joey races, and he’s going to get it aka he’s going to go untouched while Kyle gets scratched in the forehead and bleeds his own blood all over his face.

It seems like fights are really less about the drivers and more about the crew, so what’s stopping a driver from hiring an enforcer on his crew solely to smash people’s face in? Did I just find the loophole in NASCAR fights after 1 day? I may know a guy…
