Some people may look at this guy as a hardo, but I love this type of showmanship. The Price Is Right is a game where you need to make your mark. How many times have the characters you loved in contestant’s row ended up on stage? More times than not, right? I’m not saying the producers are out there fixing game shows, but I think it’s in your best interest to be entertaining. And this guy throwing the remix by going up before coming on down and then having his friend turn into a horse right in front of our faces was Hollywood at its best. Establishing dominance after your name is called is how you win the crowd. To quote Proximo from Gladiator, Win the crowd and you’ll win your freedom. Except in this case your freedom is probably some meh prize like luggage, a chance for something better (hopefully a NEWWW CARRRR), and a couple of spins of the wheel to live the ultimate dream of the Showcase Showdown. A+ to everyone involved in this entrance. Not quite Melanie level, but close.

P.S. Nothing beats a good Price Is Right sing-a-long with friends. Junior year of college whenever something great happened while we were drunk, it inevitably led to the Price Is Right song being sung. And once people start singing it, it spreads like wildfire. Then you have a huge group of friends and strangers alike singing and dancing to the Price Is Right song, which is the epitome of Positive Vibes Only.
