There was probably a time when Monte Ellis was on the Warriors where he thought he was hot shit. He was instant offense, could score a bunch, and was clearly dominant. He was the most talented player on his team. Then Steph Curry came along. A better shooter. More likeable. More naturally talented. Suddenly Monte Ellis wasn’t relevant anymore.
