Leaked Images Of New Star Wars Lego Sets Reveal Some Cool Information About The Last Jedi
Being a Star Wars megafan is obviously one of the most recognizable things about me. I’m usually wearing a Star Wars shirt or a belt or some shoes, and even if I wasn’t, you’d look at my stupid fuckin’ face and know I’m down with Threepio and Artoo. It’s not all fun and games, though, and involves a ton of work. One of the biggest responsibilities us Wars fans have is over analyzing any piece of merchandise that comes out ahead of whatever the newest movie is, and I’m here to do that here. All of the Lego sets for The Last Jedi leaked and when you look at the fine print, there’s some pretty cool shit.
This blog will contain only the slightest of “spoilers” (if you even want to call them that, it’s mostly just how things look in Lego form), but will mostly be speculation.
Kylo Ren’s New TIE Fighter
Daaaamn, check that sexy beast out. I gotta be honest, I’m a huge fan of Kylo’s last ship and don’t love that getting replaced, but can’t really complain when it looks like a TIE fighter on steroids. I just loved how the wings of his last would elevate and lower when he parked. Made for an “oh shit!” moment every time he arrived.
BB-9E
This little fella is the big part of this set for me. An evil BB-8! It’s called BB-9E, and apparently the circles on it are vents and not tools like BB-8’s, and they glow up red. That part is a scoop. I’m officially a Star Wars journalist, congratulations to me.
Resistance Transport Pod
Pretty cool little ship design with Finn driving and Rose in the copilot seat. The design of the box and look on Finn’s face inside the pod tell us these two are on the run from somebody, most likely the First Order (for defecting), and BB-8 is rollin’ with them.

This head design on Finn makes me think he won’t be a stone cold vengeance machine going after Phasma and Ren for fucking his spine into bolivian, but instead have the quick wit he did in The Force Awakens. This is great!
First Order Heavy Scout Walker
That’s one frumpy ship! I don’t know what they were going for with this design, but it’s so sci-fi-y it feels like something that’d be in The Clone Wars cartoon.
…and Hux is in it! General going into the field ALA George Washington, huh? Hopefully we get some Col. Miles Quaritch type scenes where he can get his comeuppance.
Resistance Bomber
I really just like the way this looks and wanted to share it. Poe’s outfit may indicate he’s in a higher ranking position than when we last saw him but that’s digging reeeaaal deep. It may just be his X-Wing pilot jumpsuit without the vest on.
First Order Heavy Assault Walker
So in my opinion, this box is the coolest bit of information we got from this leak, because I think it means Rey and Poe are going to be present at the AT-AT battle seen in the trailer. You know, this one:
For some reason, I pictured Finn, maybe Poe there, but definitely not Rey on the ground fighting with her lightsaber wielded. That’s gonna be suuuuuuper fucking awesome.
First Order Star Destroyer

Supreme Leader Snoke
I LOVE GOOOOOOOLD! Full clarification, I saw Snoke and his gold pimp robe the other day, that’s what this tweet was about…
…but that doesn’t make it any less surprising. From the hologram we saw in Episode VII, I figured it was a black/gray robe, and his skin was gray. Thought he was one ugly alien! Turns out he looks way more like a disfigured human than an alien. What I DIDN’T SEE was how big or small he was, because the picture was only from the chest up. I expected it to be an extreme one way or the other. Snoke’s giant hologram was either because he was Yoda’s height, or because he’s huge, and I never thought he was as big as the hologram, but maybe like 9-10 feet tall. This Lego suggests he’s the same height as Kylo and all them. Very reminiscent of The Emperor.
