Hartford Courant- A Sterling man, who was allegedly under the influence when officers pulled him over Saturday night, was wearing a T-shirt that matched his DUI charge. “Beer + Beer = Shenanigans,” reads the green tee Nathan Corey, 38, was wearing when his mug shot was taken. A trooper spotted Corey striking the sidewalk on Main Street in Danielson and breaking other traffic laws about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, police said. Corey failed sobriety tests and troopers found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a 12-inch machete inside his vehicle, police said. Corey was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, failure to drive in the proper lane, unsafe movement from a stop position, failure to have headlights illuminated, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and weapons in a motor vehicle.

I’ll tell you what. I respect a guy that can deliver. His shirt didn’t say “Water + Water = valued member of the community ” It didn’t say “I will be responsible tonight and not cause any problems” His shirt said “Beer + Beer = Shenanigans” That shirt wrote a shenanigans check and that man cashed it with his booze and weed-fueled machete shenanigans. He should be proud of his ability to deliver shenanigans when shenanigans are promised. Cause heres the thing, you better do some batshit crazy shenanigans if you’re gonna wear a shenanigans shirt like that. You can’t wear a shenanigans shirt and then not end up in jail cause the cops found a machete in your car. You can’t wear a shenanigans shirt and then end up sleeping in your own bed. You would then be what we like to call a shenanigans fraud. Shenanigans need to happen. It doesn’t matter what shenanigans. There just has to be shenanigans. This man delivered the goods.
