As Expected, Odell Beckham Jr. Is Officially Out For The Season With A Fractured Ankle

I think we all can agree this was the least surprising news ever. Anyone that saw the replay or even the reaction of the Chargers players knew that Odell was probably fucked once his ankle was caught under him during yesterday’s game. Odell escaped what looked like a season-ending injury in Cleveland during the preseason and stared directly at the eclipse without any repercussions. But the football injury gods went Final Destination and finally got him yesterday. Fuck those gods. In a weird way I’m happy he is shut down for the season instead of him potentially being able to come back and play in a meaningless December game. Rest up and get well for next season, since this season is as cuncelled as it can get.

Now all the weird ass Odell haters that don’t like him because of his hair, or his dancing, or his celebrations, or because he hit a net, or because he sometimes catches a pass with one hand, or whatever lame ass reason they can come up with get to dance on his season’s grave. The bottom line is if you don’t think football is more fun when that guy is on the field doing shit that most people on the planet can’t do, you simply fucking suck. And for all the Giants fans that wanted him traded, enjoy the next 11 games of “offense” put forth by the GMen without the guy that has been rewriting the record books for fastest starts to a career by a receiver. Hopefully he comes back just as strong as he was before the injury and doesn’t lose an inch at the negotiating table with the Giants. He didn’t hold out, played hurt for the team, and did everything that was asked of him. I would truly hate to see a guy like that miss out on even a penny for his next contract.
