We Are Re-Releasing Every Issue Of Barstool Sports Newspaper Starting Today
Anyway my mother saved every single issue of Barstool Sports except the first one somehow. But I have the hard copy of every single one besides that. We are going to re-release them all in chronological order starting today. We will release 2 issues per week on Wednesdays and Fridays until we catch up with the actual dates they were released and then it will follow the exact schedule. It will be a history lesson for new stoolies and a walk down memory lane for the old ones. The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been Barstool. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It’s been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again. But Barstool has marked the time. This newspaper, this blog, is a part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of all that once was good, and that could be again. Oh people will come, Ray. People will most definitely come.

So this is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I always talk about how Barstool Sports was built brick by brick. How I used to wake up at 4am and hand out our newspaper throughout the streets of Boston and then go home after the morning commute to write articles for the paper, sell ads etc, only to go back to T-stations at 4pm and do it all over again. Day in and day out I did this. Battling in the trenches vs Spare Change Guy and the Metro. I became best friends with the ticket scalpers outside North Station. Still to this day when I go to a Celtics game they’ll be like “Hey Pres how’s it going man” Every two weeks I’d jump in my Astrovan and go on a 48 hour paper route dropping off issues of Barstool Sports throughout Boston.
Before there was KFC, Big Cat and Kmarko there was Chisholm, Manzo and Jerry. We’ve grown so much from our early days it’s almost hard to fathom. I’m sure lots of new Stoolies and AWL’s (same people) don’t even know our roots. How our growth was all organic and by word of mouth. There have been tons of ups and downs, but through it all Barstool has continued to grow. That’s what people like Sam Ponder don’t understand. But we’re still here. She was in college while I was in the mud building an empire though sweat, grit and hard work. Brick by brick, newspaper by newspaper, blog by blog we grew. It’s why controversies don’t effect us but strengthen us. Because we’ve been through the wars. Enemies have come and gone like the wind. We’ve seen and done it all. Our fans have been with us for decades. I’ve personally handed the newspaper out to many of them. We’ve created marriages and friendships. Bottom-line is Barstool Sports is the longest running reality show in the world and it’s showing no signs of slowing down.
