SAWFT Oklahoma Announces Baker Mayfield Will Play But Not Start On Saturday vs. West Virginia

BULLSHIT. Be softer Oklahoma, you can’t. I’ve never seen such bigger outrage for something so little than this Baker Mayfield crotch grab.

I mean what are we talking about here? I don’t want to come off  like this is grade school, but Kansas started all of this first. They were the ones who wouldn’t shake Baker’s hand at midfield. They were the ones that took this ridiculous cheap shot during the game.

Who cares if he talked some shit and grabbed his crotch after he lit up the Jayhawk defense like a Christmas tree. The media’s reaction to all of this, some saying this will hurt his draft stock (preposterous), is what is forcing Lincoln Reilly’s hand today. I’m not blaming Reilly at all for this cause this is 100% coming down from upstairs and how he needs to set an example for any player moving forward this won’t be tolerated.

It was some good back and forth trash talk that should’ve been left at that. He even gave a heartfelt apology after the game which Kmarko already touched on. So now you’re doing what? You’re punishing Baker for a drive? Two drives? A quarter? I swear to God if this carries over a quarter I’m gonna blow a fuse. Oklahoma is easily the most fun team to watch in the country and if this jeopardizes their chances at the College Football Playoff then so help me God.

I don’t even have a dog in the fight, but when I’m watching these games on New Year’s Eve I better be seeing Baker.
