This Little Kid Couldn't Be Happier About Getting A Banana For Christmas

Pure, unadulterated joy. That’s what we all just witnessed. You know, people are always talking about kids and how they’re nothing but bundles of horror filled with poop and pee and vomit. Most of the time they’re right. I see these little bastards at restaurants and movie theaters and they can’t help but be the most annoying people in the room. Crying and wailing seemingly at random. So much so that the parents have to rush them outta the room like something’s on fire. It’s very distracting while I’m trying to live my selfish and narcissistic life. Very distracting indeed.

But then, people with kids will say there are little moments here and there that make all the awfulness and destruction worth it. Well I didn’t believe them until I watched that kid absolutely light up while getting a banana for Christmas. No one has ever been happier than him. He’s also a liar. He doesn’t want that stupid banana but I appreciate his manners. He could’ve tossed that banana down in disgust. Instead, he put on a brave face and pretended like that banana was a brick of gold. Kids aren’t so bad after all.
