Does This Look Like the Face of a Social Worker Who Tried to Have Lesbian Hot Tub Sex with a Client?

Does This Look Like

SourceAracely Schutters, 45, a social worker at The Compass on Kimberly Road in Bettendorf, is charged with sexual exploitation by a counselor.

A complaint states Schutters invited an adult female who was seeking counseling to Schutters’ home via text messages “to talk about the victim’s problems.”

Once at Schutters’ home on the evening of Dec. 4, 2017, the complaint says the woman got into a hot tub with the intent of discussing her problems.

Police say Schutters persisted in trying to get the woman to drink alcohol and then “engaged in unwanted kissing and touching of the victim’s inner thigh, breast, and groin.”

The complaint says Schutters then indicated to the woman “something to the effect of ‘this is so wrong, I can’t be your counselor anymore.’”

Police say during an interview Schutters admitted to kissing the woman in the hot tub.

I’ve never been to a counseling session of any kind, in spite of what you might think. Or recommend. So I can’t speak intelligently as to whether getting invited over to your MILFy therapist’s house for booze and lesbian sex in a hot tub is the industry standard or if this is something really rare and unusual.

What I do know is I’m really skeptical about a lot of so-called “counseling.” The Irishman in me believes you take your problems to your bartender, as God intended. I’ve been leery about the whole psychological therapy industry since college when I had to read Freud and realized he was a snuff-addicted crackpot with no scientific method behind his penis theories. But I can honestly say that I respect Aracely Schutters’ methods. I just think a lot of problems of the world can be solved by kissing and touching of inner thighs, breasts and groins from hot 45-year-olds over a glass of Shiraz and a nice warm soak. That’s not me telling the victim she’s wrong. “Unwanted” means “unwanted.” It’s just me saying that if Ms. Schutters’ ever gets her social worker’s license back, I’m willing to schedule an appointment. And I think a lot of people would.
