Big Buff Puts The Fear Of God Into James Neal

Imagine being the Real Deal James Neal here. You’re making a bee-line for the net before being taken out by defenseman Josh Morrissey. You inadvertently bundle goalie Connor Hellebuyck, end up on your back in the crease, look up, and see the NHL’s head bouncer Dustin Byfuglien reaching for the scruff of your neck. The best thing that can happen here is that you just become yet another of Big Buff’s playoff memes/GIFs.

Fortunately for Neal, Buff saw what happened and knew it wasn’t one of Neal’s Urkel moments so he merely dragged him out of the crease like roadkill instead of making a Stratosphere shish kebab out of him. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a hockey player shit his pants or drop a pair of “Sorrey!”s in quick succession quite like that before. And I don’t blame Neal one goddamn bit.

That’s the face of a man who just had his life flash before his eyes.
